Geekmidwinter's weekend, a story in pictures

So I had to work Saturday, and do some wedding planning stuff, and afterwards run a few errands. I was very lonely, since all my family and friends were already out running their weekend errands. There was a brand new Harley Davidson dealership having it's grand opening and there were two police officers directing traffic to allow the bikes out into traffic. The guy in front of me stopped, I stopped. The lady behind me did not stop. Nor did she slow down, or even see me until she hit me going 50 miles per hour. She did this to my car:
So that made me sad and sore and drugged up on lortab, like this:
But then an amazing this happened! I got a box in the mail! And it had wonderful things in it, like this:
So then that made me HAPPY and drugged up on lortab, like THIS:
In addition to the stuff I showed, there was tons of candy and lots of other stuff to make me smile. I would jump up and down if I could.
So thank you Mama Hooch for being a wonderful suprise Halloween present-giver, you made me feel so much better, I'm going to have some orange flavored cocoa in my fabulous new mug and rest on the couch right now!

Geek, so sorry to hear about the accident,

but very thankful that you walked away unharmed.

You certainly have a great sense of humor about the whole thing.
BTW, Way to go MHooch, your package seemed to have arrived just in time to make things a little better.

Same here. I'm glad you weren't hurt GeekMidWinter. Your SUV definatly looks like it's seen better days. I'd get that insurance report in PRONTO and get repaired GMW. Your lucky you were in a larger vehicle.
Witches have their "ways" of casting spells of pure magic.
It's amazing to see such timing MamaHootch. Definatly one of the good ones.

OMG Geekmidwinter I hope you're ok! I was in a very similar car accident as a passenger a couple of years ago and I suffered very bad whiplash - 2 years later and my neck is still not right

Please get it checked out at the doctors asap if you start to have any sort of neck/shoulder pain over the next few days. *hugs*
I'm so glad that you weren't seriously hurt - and what a wonderful thing that Mama Hooch's package would turn up at that time when you needed cheering up! And what beautiful things! Ah the magick of Halloween

Thanks so much you guys! The person who hit me has no insurance and was driving with a suspended license, but my insurance company will sue her to recoup their loss on my behalf, so that's how that goes. And the lortab and muscle relaxers have helped a lot, but miraculously, I'm not in much pain and a little amazed that I'm not hurt worse, considering how hard she hit me. MHooch is like my combination fairy godmother and great pumpkin.

What a weekend!,
certainly glad you're okay!! The person had no insurance AND a suspended license?? Don't know WHY she thought still being on the road was a good idea! Hopefully your insurance co. will hastily recover the losses for ya!! In the meantime, you can enjoy all those tasty treats and cool new Halloween stuff!
