Welcome back Duchess! I was just wondering the other day where you disappeared to.
Right now I'm relaxing, listing to some Halloween music. In a little while I'm gonna put on a movie while I carve some pumpkins.

I'm listening to the police radio from the Bronx as I set up Windows 8 on this computer. In fact, this is my first post from Win8. So exciting! It definitely runs better than the evaluation version I was using in the virtual machine. In fact, it seems much quicker than the Windows 7 I had on this machine. I likes it.

Somebody tried to steal our reindeer yard ornament from our yard late last night (he was foiled by neighbors, who saw him and accosted him). So now I am puzzling about how to keep our decorations in our yard. We have already duct-taped all the plugs together, and have duct-taped the final cord to the grill work on our front porch. I guess I am soon off to the camping store for mega-yard stakes, as the few that came with the ornaments obviously aren't sufficient.

I'm getting ready to decorate my Christmas tree, I have all the lights on, now for the ornaments.

Right now I'm preparing for a very busy photo weekend. Jazz Band concert photos tonight, Madrigal Singers tomorrow night, and the Chorale & Chocolate concert on Sunday afternoon. Some extra $$$ for the upcomming Christmas holiday.

I'm trying to figure out what a DPC_WATCHDOG VIOLATION is. Stupid Windows 8! Actually, considering I put it on a home built computer it's running remarkable well, much quicker than Windows 7.

Raining today so can't work outside. Currently listening to the DSC Show. Just gonna hang out and play on the computer. Need to finish setting up Windows 8 so I can create my restore disk but can't stop playing that stupid pinball game from the app store. Never should have downloaded it!

My son is done with his college exams and is home sleeping late. My daughter is off taking high school exams, but will have an early day. I think I'm going to go Christmas shopping in a few minutes, so I can be home this afternoon and do some chores. I still need to erect my tree!
