Still a little too warm over in the Southern part of the UK. The leaves seem to be stubbornly sticking to thier Summer green.
However it was a little cooler at the weekend and the shops have their Halloween decorations in. It's slow but I can feel my momentum beginning to build.

It looks like it's going to be a high in the mid 70s for the remainder of the week here in VA, which is fantastic. The weekend after next its supposed to be a high of low 70s, tell me thats not perfect Halloween weather!

Today I finally noticed that fall is coming! It was colder than usual outside, and the grass is a yellowy brown and the leaves are turning brown, orange and yellow. Yay!! :D

If only you could send some of that rain to California. 3 years and counting, of near drought conditions.

Also here it is, the first day of Fall, and we're expecting 100 degrees today. it's just not fair.

I am embarrassed to say that I've never been farther south than Big Sur

I live on the coast side of the Santa Cruz Mts., 40 minutes south of San Francisco. We're on a red-flag until 11PM tonight so no BBQ-ing this evening :-)

Well, today it was 82 degrees, but it's starting to dry out quite a bit, and the wasps are everywhere. Fall is on its way!

That's why you guys should move to Ohio or in the midewest and live through all of mother natures season its so much fun like right now, not so much when there is like 8 ft of snow and ice on the ground.

The leaves here are falling in the breeze, already.
No color yet though.

Tomorrow and Monday are supposed to be really windy. I love that.
The wind starts blowing more by the day. Welcome October! Hurry!
