Candy of course.
I also throw in some halloween pencils and fun little
toys. But I noticed that those are grabbed and gone before
the candy.

Only ONE group of children came to my door for trick-or-treat last Halloween. They may have been the only children who lived in our apartment complex.

This year they will get a pile of treats. Besides Dubble Bubble bubble gum, Palmer's Creepy Peepers (caramel-filled chocolate "eyeballs"), and honey roasted peanuts, each child will get Halloween pencils, a coupon good for one free kid's meal at Big Boy restaurants, and a DVD double feature of old horror movies (only $1.50 at Walgreens).

When just four kids come for Halloween, I can afford to spoil them. :D

I plan to give out dog bones. Not the crunchy
Milkbone type, but the rawhides. MMMMmmm!

Oh, wait... Did you mean for the KIDS!?!

I have three bags of the Tootsie Roll Assortments.
There are fruit flavored taffies and the Tootsie Pops
in the mixed bag as well. Always a human favorite.

I bought three, because we hardly get any ToT'ers,
Last year we had three, the year before just two.
So you-know-who is going to polish off the haul.

But I'm told it all turns to muscele anyway...

That's a rather loaded question, because I have a weight problem, and I do love to hand out Snichers Bars, Nestles Crunch and Butter Fingers. The reason, I eat them myself when trick or treat is over, but last year, I really didn't want to be wearing Halloween on my hips, so I decided to hand out something that I don't like. I handed out lolly pops. Kids usualy love them, but I'm not particularly fond of them, so I won't eat them and gain weight.

Last year I did glow sticks. I found them at Hobby Lobby ( $5.00 for a box of 50 ) I don't have a lot of tot' ers, so I got away with 2 boxes.

Did too much last year... pencils, gliders, play-doh, stickers, bouncy eyeballs, bracelets, temp tattoos, bat rings, glow bracelets and candy. I actually made bags... mostly because I bought the extras to hand out at our church party, but the witch in charge of it planned it for Halloween night.

This year, I'll be doing BOTH. SO I'll be able to hand out all sorts of things:
Kazoos, medals (for Halloween night to my fave costumes), bracelets, and hair-clips.... looking into temp tattoos, but I can't find any I like at Oriental Trading this year. *sigh*
Still have 600 glowbracelets left. I got mine from http://illuminationz.com/-- 1000-count 8" glow bracelets for $70 (that included shipping). I wanted it to last 3-years.

I get about 300 trick or treaters so I have to buy in bulk. This year it will be vampire fangs and bloody eyeball gum.

Like I said, this is the last year I will be allowed to eat anything that has processed sugar in it, so I am going to pass out miniature butter fingers, reses, nestles crunch bars and snickers bars.

Come next year, I have not decided yet, but it will most likely be suckers.

Several years ago I began handing out full sized Hershey bars. It's amazing the reaction it gets. I get them in boxes of 36 at Sam's Club. It depends on the weather as to how many TOTers I get but word gets out so the number tends to increase each year.
