Goul, I am in total 100% agreement with that. Traditional TOTing is much better and a lot more fun. It also gives the yountsters a chanc eto see all the different Halloween set-ups, and it helps to enhance their education in manners when they go to some one's door. I think having a bunch of cars in a parking lot, and people handing out candy from the trunks is possibly the lamest thing that could ever be. A lot of our most beloved traditions are going the same way in the name of so called "progress." My point is that I can understand why people do it, though. Parents are afraid for their kids today, and for very good reason. But I do think that there are better wasys then to water down everyone's fun by having the whole thing out of the trunks of cars.

Re: TRICK OR TRUNK
Thanks
Yeah Trick or Treating is a Halloween tradition. They cannot replace a tradition. They can try, but they will fail.

Re: TRICK OR TRUNK
They already have failed in a lot of places. The kids complain abou it. They would rather have traditional TOTing, and if they can't h ave TOT, then they would rather have a Halloween party some place, but nobody likes the idea of candy from the trunk of some one's car. It's a rediculous idea, and it completely takes the fun out of Trick or Treat.
