HIPPIELUVN'S SPRING BREAK MOVIETHON 2015

Post by hippieluvn » Sun Mar 22, 2015 6:53 pm

This year I've decided to create a whole new mid-year tradition on this website...

Each year in the weeks before Halloween, I host a horror movie marathon on here...

And I share news about the scary films that I'm watching on here for you to comment...

For the past few years, I've also engaged in pre-Christmas and springtime moviethons but didn't share...

This year I'm going to share my springtime film-watching habits on here just like I do at Halloween...

I hope you all enjoy my party and comedy-themed movie selections to usher in the warmer temps 8)

I think this is a fun idea, although I must confess I haven't seen very many of those movies.

Well, I sure hope you enjoy my selections and find some inspiration to watch these fun movies...

Some of my choices may not fit most folks' models of the stereotypical spring break/summertime movie...

But I think they're fun and almost each film reminds me of a period in my life, just like songs do for most of us 8)

Love the American Pie movies. Porkey's and Caddyshack always felt like springtime to me. Currently watching Meet Joe Black. Don't care what anyone says, that's an awesome movie.

Definitely need to add Porkey's and Caddyshack to my playlist...

Heard of it but never saw Meet Joe Black -- is it a springtime flick?

Nah, more of a Halloween thing. Death decides to take a vacation, see what being human is like. It's stars Anthony Hopkins so that alone makes it worth watching.

Tonight, in honor of the Jewish and Christian holidays,
I'll watch Charlton Heston in The Ten Commandments
