Work was stressful and I was really tired so I wasn't in the mood to do anything. Oh well. Here I come, July!!

Re: LITTLE HALLOWEEN REMINDER
I had a fabulous "Little Halloween." I put out my plastic jack o'lantern, and watched "Children of the Corn" Jeepers Creepers 2" and "Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man." I was very disappointed in "Cabin in the Woods," chich I saw at my local theatre earlier in the day. Talk about hokey. The story line was all over the place, and everyone was smoking pot. It was as though the producers got together at a marijuana party, and used their drug indused fantasies to put this thing together. There was no real story to it at all. Total waste of money IMHO. That was the only down side to my "Little Halloween."
Our next "Little Halloween" Trick or Treat will be Friday July 13th, and since that's the Summer time, and since I work 10 hours a day for only 4 days a week in the Summer time, I will be off that day. I may opt for a short 'haunted road trip' instead of a movie for that day, all though I will screen a "Dark Shadows" episode and put out my plastic jack o'lantern for at least an hour or two, jost so to keep the "Little Halloween" tradition alive.

I disagree. I just saw The Cabin in the Woods tonight. And I had a great time. I thought it was funny and original and full of awesome sights. In the first half it does look like another slasher flick. But then after that it instantly changes.

Hey, to each his or her own. I thought it was just plain silly.
Well, the next "Little Halloween" will be on Friday July 13th, and as I said before, I will be off that day, so I'll have the entire day to celebrate "Little Halloween." And mid to late July is when all the stores start getting ready for the 'big day,' too.

I can't know if I'll be doing much then. But I'll try to set up something.

Re: LITTLE HALLOWEEN REMINDER
One of my older son's closest friends is getting married on Sat., July 14. He is involved in the wedding, so I guess he'll be spending "Little Halloween" at a rehearsal dinner. The rest of us will attend the wedding, but I doubt we'll have any obligations the night before. Perhaps we can come up with something Little-Halloweenish that evening.

Re: LITTLE HALLOWEEN REMINDER
Well, I haven't decided what movie I was going to screen yet, after I put out my plastic jack o'lantern, but it it's not raining, I am going to make a little 'haunted road trip' to some place close by to get myself into the spirit of it.
