Not Just For Winter

Tonight, we made haunted gingerbread mausoleums for cub scouts. It was awesome sauce.... and yes, we fit it into their achievements. Bwahaha!
Anyone else make a haunted gingerbread house to celebrate?

I've seen them, but I have enough trouble with the Christmas gingerbread house. I don't want to give myself another chore like that!
I love that you did it with Cub Scouts, though, and that you managed to fulfill a requirement with them in that way! Been there, done that, with two boys!

Wilton has a chocolate mold for coffins and skeletons. Hubby and I spent all weekend casting coffins.

Our culinary arts makes Halloween Gingerbread Houses some times. If they do it this year, I'll try to post some pics.

I've seen some Halloween Gingerbread kits in the stores but I bet the homemade ones are better.
