My Graveyard 'Death Day' Cake

Post by Rising Dead Man » Fri May 22, 2009 5:59 pm

Here is my birthday (May 11, not Halloween! XD) cake.

My camera is crappy. So these turned out kind of blurry.

This is a clearer image.

It is just an ordinary cake but with graham cracker cookies for gravestones. I covered them in white icing.

The fence was pretzels.

The trees were black licorice twizzlers. Which did not even taste edible.

I'm not a big fan of licorice, but they look good on your cake.

The icicng on the headstones looks like it worked well indeed.
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Thanks.

Here is the cake with the lights off and the candles lit. They could be street lights. But I like to imagine my little graveyard in the middle of a dark New England forest. So I say it's a supernatural light!
