First let me thank all of you who participated in the poll and posted your comments
It seems the results are in.......I won 66% to 33%
We have decided however as many of you have suggested to compromise
he will keep Elvira until October 1st and then I get to pick a wallpaper for all of October

To be sure, it is a "racy" sort of image for the red-blooded types. But I believe in Elvira, and her TV show meant something to me in the 80's. Her character was a genuine horror host, with the spooky set and sound effects, doing silly gags and making fun of the (usually awful) films she showed. I don't remember another one doing this kind of routine in the Los Angeles area afterwards, and I miss it!
