This maybe the lack of sleep talking and it really isn't much of topic, but is it just me or does coleslaw and the inside of a pumpkin have the same smell

I can see where they could be similar, depending on your coleslaw recipe. You just gave me a great idea for serving colelsaw at my next halloween party!

Well, what do you folks think about freshly-made PUMPKIN cole slaw? I bet it would work! With some pepper and nutmeg and other spices.

I served onion dip in hollowed out small pumpkins once. It worked great!

To me, there's nothing else like the smell of a freshly cut pumpkin. I really REALLY can't wait til the pumpkins I'm planting this summer are ready to cut into!
STAB!
GUT!
CARVE!
REPEAT!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
