While cancelled Halloweens certainly do suck I think you missed the joke johnsoneliza. Jade and my wife are both pregnant. When you think about it a baby eats your nutriants, makes you sick/tired/sore and gives you nothing back in return(not while in the womb anyway). Which is the definition of a parasite. My wife is very early so she has "morning sickness" in quotes because like many women it's not limited to the morning. It has also changed her taste buds. She can't drink coffee(decaf), no salad(she tried to eat healthy), and worst of all she now is nauseated by pumpkin. So no pumpkin pancakes, no pumpkin coffee, no pumpkin anything! She swears she will have some pumpkin pie on thanksgiving if she has to eat it with a bucket next to her.johnsoneliza52 wrote:Parasites and cancelled Halloweens suck!

Aww, too bad about the pumpkin!
Pregnancy can do weird things to your taste buds. I am a coffee fiend, but during my pregnancies I couldn't even walk down that aisle of the grocery store. Another odor I couldn't take was microwavable popcorn, even though I normally love popcorn.
She'll probably get better during mid-pregnancy.

Yea, but soon you will have your own pumpkin that will give you plenty in return. Diapers full in fact.Demonic Duck wrote:While cancelled Halloweens certainly do suck I think you missed the joke johnsoneliza. Jade and my wife are both pregnant. Thanks Spooky.
Murf yea I know my friend who used to hate chocolate(I know she's weird) got a sudden taste for it while pregnant. Now that she has given birth she doesn't hate it but doesn't crave it anymore either. I'm sure all her tastes will sort out in due time.
Murf I look forward to everything the little pumpkin does.

Congrats to all with parasites!!!
I couldn't eat Chocolate before I got pregnant, it always gave me terrible headaches, now it doesn't. I don't know if it's such a blessing now tho....

Congratulations!! and you're right, I missed the joke!! lol
I remember being pregnant, waking up about 10:30pm and just dying for speghetti. Husband
comes out, and I'm making speghetti (I normally don't overly care for speghetti)

Thanks sorry for the confusion. I think the parasite terminology was explained in another thread about a month back.

Yea now we just have the great gender debate. Not which one we're having that's clearly out of our hands at this point but to find out or not. I don't want to know and have always wanted to be surprised. She wants to know her main arguing point is that you get more and better stuff when you know the gender. Additionally she hates surprises. She knew about her wedding shower in advance and still had to be coaxed inside the building.

We had about 70 or so which is average for our neighborhood. I actually didn't run out of candy this year. Just had one bag leftover.
