Why do a lot of your comments sound vaguely like a disease? 8)

It's supposed to be cooler today, only in the upper 80's. :?

It was very chilly this morning, and it's only supposed to get up to about 70 today. Yesterday it was 76 when I started to mow my lawn for what hopefully will be the last mowing of the season.

Well, I still do miss Summer.... but not really because I still do have cool and warm weather during the autumn season... Cold weather is always after Thanksgiving till earlier Spring.... After Easter, it will be Spring time! :D

I miss Summer some times, but I miss it mostly in Jaunary and February. We do have "Indian Summer" and we've in fact had temps that were in the mid 80s for several days.

At any rate, the snow is going to be flying inless then two months, and then we will all be complaining about the bitter cold and inconvenience caused by ice and snow on the roads, so I am going to hop in my bike and enjoy what's left of the ncie weather.

That is a very nice photo. Really says "Autumn" through and through. We have had some beautiful Autumn weather in my neck of the woods, too. It was really nice, and I spent most of this past weekend on my bike. Right now, however, it clouded up and it started to drizzle as I got to work. The temps also got colder, too.

As for being glad that Summer is over, however, I am not glad, but I am also noe greiving, because I know that it's going to be back next June, which is already less then a year away. I enjoy each season as it comes, and Summer to me means 4th of July fireworks, motorcycling, the beach and vacationing. The only time of the year that I really hate, is that two month period of 'post-Christmas' winter, January and February. If I had my 'druthers,' I would skip right from December to March. That's when I really miss Spring and Summer the most. Come to think of it I also miss Fall then, too.

The cold air is now moving toward here in VA Beach. :( Can't wait to feel the warm air again in the end of the month of March. But, I really can't stand the hot air and feel like heat in May till September! :?

Spooky has a point abut heat and humidity. It's a lot easier to get warmed up when you are cold then it is to get cooled down when you're all hot and sweaty, but regardless of that, I HATE that post Christmas Winter season primarily of January and February. It's during those two months that I miss Summer the most.
