I am surprised there is no topic to show pumpkin carvings. I looked and looked but to no avail. So I'm starting one.
If there is one that I missed, just put this post in it.

I will definitely take come pics of the ones I carve, but I still have to find the means to reduce the file sizes so I can upload them. And I agree. It's a very good idea, and a great way to get ideas for next year as well.

I've had difficulty with file sizes, too, in the past.

When you only have time for one pumpkin a year you have to do a classic.

I ended up carving mine on my own, in a hurry, so they were not masterpieces. My son got called in to work unexpectedly, so he couldn't carve. And my daughter got bad news that deflated her spirits. She learned that a close friend's brother had passed away at college. No details, so everyone fears suicide. Daughter knew the brother, too, so she took it hard.
