Thanks, Witchy. I am proud, and very happy. As I said on the other thread, I am definately planning a 'haunted road trip' possibly this very upcomming weekend, but I may have to post pone until next weekend, because that's when I get my next paycheck.

iHaunt, sorry to miss lead you, but you have a good point. I would truely LOVE for there to be a sequal to the movie "Trick or Treat." But in any case, if I do go on a 'haunted road trip' in the next two weeks, I'll be sure to take and post plenty of photographs.

Mike did you buy it used from an Air Force guy?

Hi Spooky: I bought it used at Chi Town Harley Davidson in Tinley Park, but the dealer did say something about the former owner being in the Air Force. The insignia on the dash board sort of tells the story. I don't know if I should leave it there to honor those guys, or remove it because I'm not nor was I ever in the military.

Thanks, Andy. I am really loving it. As I said, I am seriously considering a 'haunted road trip' this weekend if we don't get the promised rain that I've been hearing about on the Weather Channel all week.

Spooky, I don't know if I should be sporting an Air Force insignia on my dash board or not. I do believe in what they do, and want to support them, as I do support and honor all of our military people, but since I've never been in the Air Force or any other branch of the military, I don't know if is't appropriate for me to leave that on my dash. I was thinking about removing it and sending it back to the bike's previous owner, because he actualy EARNED those wings.

well......I understand what your saying but to be honest, all he did was most likely buy them at the BX, I mean it isnt like a pilot earning his wings, thats just a generic AF insignia that you buy like a bumper sticker kind of thing but, it would seem odd to someone that your honoring the Air Force specifically with no real ties to that branch as opposed to honoring all branches as a civilian.......I would just pop it off and toss it if it were me...

I did have a brother who served in the Army during the Vietnam era, and an uncle who served in ther Marine Corpse during World War II, but nobody I know ever served int he Air Force, so I think I will remove it. I mean no disrespect to any military people on the forum, but I would actualy prefer a Crucifix, anyway.

That's a good question, Andy. I often did wonder if Jesus walked the earth today, what He would drive, if he drove at all.
