I'll never forget the time my yonger sister was working with a tube of super glue and it exploded in her face. She was not seriously injured, but her had a lot of difficulty seeing for a few days. It was painful to see her groping around because of the temporary blindness that she suffered. I drove her to the eye doctor and they were able to help her some, but fo the most part it took the better part of 3 days for the glue to "sluff" off.

I'm wearing a welding mask the next time I have a project requiring super glue. :shock:

It's allways a good idea to wear some kind of eye protection when working with chemicals like that. The vapors alone can cause eye iritation.
