Guilt is just a scam created by religion and the police to try to make life less fun. I'm having none of it!! :x

You guys are going to laugh at me behind my back for this, but I have a few 'guilty pleasures,' but one of my favorites is "Kiddie cerials." I love Captain Crunch, Count Chocola, Frankenberry, Quisp (Haven't seen it on the shelvs for a whild) and Quake (also haven't seen it on the shelvs for a while. I hardly ever eat them because of the sugar content, but I still love them. I also still eat Kellog's Pop Tarts, though they aren't as "guilty" as Captain Crunch.

I particularly love Crunch Berries.

I confess I don't feel guilt over any of my pleasures. I think I am entitled to them all!

Well, here's something I am feeling a little guilty about. My daughter and I have tickets to see Wicked in Memphis in a few weeks. We missed it in Nashville last year, so I promised her I'd take her whenever it came nearby again.

Now, here's where the guilt trip comes in. We have to stay overnight in a hotel (it's a four-hour drive, and I don't want to make that trek home in the dead of the night). I have been looking at hotels and have found several options. However, where I really want to stay is the Peabody, a famous Memphis hotel known for, of all things, its duck promenade inside the hotel to and from a fountain twice a day. I have never seen the Peabody ducks, and I want to. But the Peabody is at least $100 more than some other options I've looked at. I feel guilty about staying there when I could find a cheaper hotel. But I want to stay there.

I'd pay the extra hundred bucks for the nicer hotel, if it meant the difference between staying in a place that had bedbugs and one that didn't....

A hotel with ducks. Interesting. Very interesting. I , of course, would have prefered a haunted hotel.

Guilt, fear, and shame have been around much longer than any religion. And I have too many guilty pleasures to count. The top one is brushing my teeth more than necessary.

At least you're not kicking puppies or tripping nuns.

I am with Murfreesboro! No guilt here. I love by the belief, If you don't want anyone watching, don't do it.

I am going to enter Heaven skidding in on two wheels in a worn out body, chocolate in one hand and a diet coke in the other screaming Wooo Hooo!
