What a relief.

The 2nd Semester of college is finally over! No more tests, quizzes or homework to do. Now I can focus on other things.
The only thing that's keeping me on edge right now are my grades. I just hope I passed everything. It's been one hectic semester, I've never held a job as long as I have AND gone to school at the same time. Sure I've worked and gone to school before but it was usually just for a few hours or just on the weekends or even just four hours in the morning and then one or two classes in the evening, and I usually don't keep a job as long as I have. It's been around 6 months since I've had this job. 15 to 24 hours might not seem all that much, but when you're going to school it's hard.
I don't know if this means I'll get more free time though however, because my boss might throw in more hours for me. It's good on one hand because it means more money, but it also means I'm going to be terribly exhausted.
I'm really looking forward to Christmas next week though. It's been one long and tiring semester. Next semester is going to be even worse.

Mau, I hear ya. My wife is going to school full time and has a part time job as well. She was supposed to have 15hrs a week but she's almost to full time this month due to the holidays. Her last school day was last Wed and she feels much better too.

I'm very proud of her and I admire her for doing this

Congratulations on completing your 2nd semester, Demonslayer! I used to teach in college and spent 22 years of my life on college campuses. It is a very hard grind at this time of year. I never tried to attend school and hold a true job off-campus (I did work-study on campus as an undergrad, not the same thing at all). It takes tremendous dedication to do what you and Spooky's wife are doing. Both of you have every right to be proud of yourselves.

Absolutely! I remember what it was like to try to juggle school and work and grades, too.
Big ups to you, Mau!
And to your wife, Spooky! :)

No more pencils, no more books
No more teachers' dirty looks
When the teacher rings that bell
Pick up your books and RUN LIKE HELL!!

Thanks for the encouragement everyone!
I just found out I got an A in Business Communications, it felt just like opening an early Christmas present! Now if I passed everything else I'll be home free until next semester! The final grades won't be posted until the night of the 22nd so I'm thinking I probably won't find out until then. So close to Christmas too, can you imagine your holiday being wrecked by finding out you failed something? Ack.
I think I passed Medical Terminology by a hair though.

Same here, Adrian. I'm a little bit of a fan.
I liked his A. S. album. That was a good one.
