Kinda looks like that is where our society is headed any way...
All you that doth my grave pass by,
As you are now so once was I,
As I am now so you must be,
Prepare for death & follow me.

Body modification isn't an indicator of the downfall of society..... Unless you're talking specifically about scribbling talking points on the palm of your hand.....

I bet if she rubbed the "talking points" off her hand she would still continue on with her speech and wouldnt stand there like a mute waiting for her hand to be re-written...

I think the President's question time with Republicans last week put lie to the mythology of his teleprompter presidency. But I don't blame y'all for continuing to shake that rag; when you haven't got steak, you gotta make due with cold beans on stale toast.

You know what ads I hate? Candy bar commercials. They're always full of hot, young, thin, acne-free models scrannin' on gooey chocolate and caramel like it's a carrot stick, when you just know that five minutes after the cameras stop rolling, they'll be in the bathroom purging.

no not really, if he gives a speech and the propmpter freezes again, he'll stand there like a deer in the headlights again........you know who was a really good speaker? Clinton........hey Mac, I was thinking about this last night and I was too lazy to look it up, maybe you know. How many years did the repubs have the majority in the house and senate during Bush's 2 terms?

Do me a favor.... Post that clip.

They had the House when he was elected, and the Senate was fifty fifty, I think, with Cheney casting the tie-breaker which officially gave the Republicans the majority, until Jim Jeffords switched parties and gave the majority to the Dems briefly (late 2001?? Or 2002?). The Republicans took back the Senate that November (54 seats they had, I think), and held the majority in both houses from January 2003 until January of 2007, when the new Congress was sworn in after the '06 election. So I guess it would be four consecutive years, but a total of about five out of President Bush's eight. If you're writing a book, I'd still look it up to be sure, but that's my recollection.

I can not stand prescription drug commercials. Awful!!

Especially when they tell you that you're gonna have diarrhea, vomiting, etc. makes you want to suffer with what you have to begin with.
