I sure that your commitment and sense of joy in being her husband more than makes up for a lost earring.

Does anyone remember the Nutrisystem commercial from a couple of years ago that featured this woman named Amy? She lost weight and looked good -- a healthy thin -- like she lost the right amount of weight and didn't look like she needed to lose any more. She had this really annoying habit of stressing "I'm a size tewwwwwwww," while holding out two fingers, practically right in your face like a little kid does. She'd constantly say "tewwwwwww" this or "tewwwwwww" that throughout the entire commercial, while nervously chuckling every time she said it! "I was once fat, now I'm a size tewwwwwwww! Uh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huh!" "I love how I look since I'm now a size tewwwwwwww! Uh-huh-huh-huh-huh-huh!" I couldn't stand her!

There's a new Nutrisystem commercial with a woman named Amy, who I'm pretty sure is the same one from earlier ads. This time she doesn't say "tewwwwwww" and hold up her two fingers, but she looks weird. They show her strolling by a pool in a bikini, and something about her doesn't look right. She lost even more weight, and she's so muscular, sporting this manly six-pack that would turn "The Situation" from "Jersey Shore" green with envy. The way she moves is strange -- she walks like a robot, like something out of "Terminator," where if she moves the wrong way, she'll short-cicruit and disintegrate. Being thin and toned looks great, but she looks like she took it to the extreme.

Since Valentine's Day is just about here, anyone notice the commercials were being bombarded with? Jewelry ("He went to Jared!" and "Every kiss begins with Kay"), Trojan, and K-Y.

Oh, yeah.

In our house, we regard that Kay commercial as suggesting that every woman is a prostitute. ("Every kiss begins with Kay?" Really? Men have to bribe women with jewelry to get a kiss?)

The only thing I really wear is my ring and a necklace that my kids got me for Mother's Day, that is it. I don't wear earrings because you just never know when you are going to get into a fight with someone, they usually go for the earrings.

Imagine what they will look like when they are old, I don't think those ever close up when they are stretched out like a freakin' dinner plate! I think it looks ugly as hell.
