George Lucas only directed Star Wars Episode 1, 2 and 4? Sorry, I'm not familiar with that guy Irvin Kershner.

Ok, I just checked with Google online... George Lucas did direct Star Wars episode 1, 2, 3 and 4. But, Irvin Kershner only directed episode 5. And, Richard Marquand directed episode 6. From that episode 5 and 6, George Lucas only wrote and produced.

k, I'd have to go back and look at the prequel credits (I'm not a fan of those) so you might be right, but I swear I read Lucas only co-directed 2 and 3 just to "oversee" the director...
