Well according to some people, a lot of wiccans are actually pagans.
There supposedly is a difference, but Wicca is a branch off Paganism. Wicca was founded by some dude (I can't remember his name), and I believe one has to be initiated with the opposite gender into the craft, and become part of a coven, for example, a woman would be initiated by a man, and a man would be initiated by a woman. Wiccans believe in the lord and the lady of the isles, but I don't think Pagans need to believe in the "God and Goddess."
Pagans don't need any official initiation, they can practice privately if they wish.
I don't think Pagans believe in the devil either. They believe in the gods of mythology, from the Greek gods, Roman gods, Egyptian gods...pretty much whatever gods they want to worship.
I also heard true satanists don't actually believe in Satan, but the early church just labled them as such. Though I do believe there are real devil worshippers out there.
I looked into Wicca and tried it in highschool...but it just wasn't for me.
I was raised Christian, and while I believe in God...I just feel uncomfortable with religion. Granted, I don't trust the devil or demons either. They can stay as far away from me as they can get, and honestly if you believe using a Ouiji board would summon evil spirits, you're smart to not want that in your home. I don't trust them things either. Ouiji boards creep me out.
This probably seems crazy, crazy, a graveyard theory,
A ghost tried to approach me and got leery.
Ask him a question and he vanished in a second...

Any religion that professes the existance of more then one diety (polytheoist) is considered to be peagan by deffinition. I think there are some Wiccans, however who are monotheoistic in their beliefs, but I can't swear to it. I know very little about the Wiccan belief system beyond what my niece tells me about it.

As far as I know, a wiccan MUST follow the God and Goddess or Lord and Lady of the Isles.
So perhaps one could say they are dualtheistic? I'm not entirely sure what you would call a belief in two gods.
It's possible for a wiccan to believe in other gods as far as I know.
Pagans don't have that requirement. I think Pagans pretty much believe whatever they want.
I believe in the Christian/Hebrew God. I wish the Egyptian goddess Bastet were real...but I doubt it.

I'm a Christian, too Demonslayer. Peagans often profession beliefs in many dieties. In Ancient Greece and Rome, and through out much of the rest of the ancient world for that matter, Polytheism was very widely accepted. Ancient Rome was vary Peagan, as was Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt. Wiccans, from what I understand only believe in one god but I could be wrong. I'll have to ask my niece who is a Wiccan.

Those who believe in more then one God are polytheist. It makes no difference whether it's 2 gods or 20.
