Well, my own biases as a staunch TRADITIONALIST will probably be obvious here, but here is what I would suggest for Halloween viewing.
"House of Dark Shadows"
"Night of Dark Shadows"
"The Changeling" (1981)
"The Hauntng" (The Original)
"The Amityville Horror" 1979
"Dracula" (Bela Lugosi)
"Frankenstein" (Bris Karlov)
"The Legend of Sleepy Hallow" (Any version, even a "Kiddie"version or a Cartoon is great Haloween viewing.)
"It's the Great Pumpkin Charile Brown" (Need I say more???)
"Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man"
"The Wolf Man" (Lon Chaney)
"Nosferatu' (1922 silent era movie, but great rendition of the Dracula story)
"Phantom of the Opera" (1926 nother silent gem starring Lon Chaney Senior)
"The Strange Case of Dr. Jeckyl & Mr. Hyde" (Dan Curtis productions version)
"Hallowen" (original)
"Halloween 2" (the original)
I can sit here all day typing titles, but I think you have the idea. TRADITION allways is the best way to go IMHO.
