Did anyone know about this remake of Dorian Gray? Have some of you seen the classic in 1970? Well, I've never seen it myself. I would love to add it to my Netflix, but I didn't find it on Netflix.

I wanted to see 1970 version, but I added 2009 version to my queoe.
DVD Description:
A corrupt young man somehow keeps his youthful beauty eternally, but a special painting gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all.
Release date in UK on September 9th, 2009 - but not find a release date in US!
The following titles I found online:
The Picture of Dorian Gray (1945)
Dorian Gray (1970)

The correct title is "A Picture of Dorian Gray." I can't swear to it, but I think the version you are refferring to is the Dan Curtis productins version, and you might be able to purchase yourself a copy from the Dan Curtis web site. I don't know the url off the top of my head, but if you google "Dan Curtis Productions" you should have no problem. I purchased a multi DVD box set from that web site which included "Dr. Jeckyl & Mr Hyde," "Dracula" "A Picture of Dorian Greay" and "The Turn of a Screw"

I wish to see "Dorian Gray" 1970 - but I refuse to purchase it if that is really good... I heard it has some sexual explicit and too graphic nudity. I really didn't mind it. And also, some people say that it has some crude sexual content, so what does it mean?

There was nothing sexualy explicit or nudity in the Dorian Gray that I saw. Dan Curtis productions specialized in made-for-tv movies, which were excelent, but had to be leagal to broadcast on television.

Well, I wish to rent and see the 1970 version first before buying it if I do like or not.... But no worries because I already added Dorian Gray remake of 2009 to my Netflix list.

Ad, I have to work my way to find another DVD online where I can rent that is easily to find, or maybe they have everything that Netflix doesn't always have some of them in their online store.
