One more of my rockin' hair.

Last year's costume, Marie Antoinette.

I'm having a murder mystery party and looking for a saloon girl outfit for a friend. She doesn't want to spend a lot of money (less than $25). Anyone know anywhere to get a cheap saloon girl/moulin rouge looking outfit? I've been scouring ebay and online costume places but we're still looking at $30 ...

I'm going to be Queen Elizabeth I. I have the gown, white facial makeup (for the ultra-pale skin of hers) and short, curly blonde wig which I'm going to spray red. I'm going to get the pearl jewelry later in October. I can't wait!

So far we're doing cheese cloth for tableclothes (thanks Martha), dry ice on the food table, trying to make some Martha spider sacs, and I ordered creepy candy (vomit, road kill, spider sacs) from Oriental Trading for the tables. DH is in charge of carving pumpkins -- again Martha's mag had great ...

I really like the Martha mag too. I'm sooo going to try the spider sacs!! And who knew there was black vodka?!
